A lot of people ask me what my goal is on Roblox; what is it I dream to achieve by developing on this website?

I have been playing Roblox ever since 2008. It has so far been 10 years since I first joined the site, and the changes I have seen the site undergo are just tremendous. I've watched the small stud showcases of 2008 transform into the mega-sized open-world games and expansive minigames of 2018. However, even with all this time, there has always been one thing I have noticed about Roblox games; one thing that has always been consistent. Almost none of them have storylines.

In a way, I feel this hinders the growth of roblox games, and I feel that this also majorly seperates Roblox games from those on other sites. If you go on almost any other gaming website, the majority of their games follow some sort of story or purpose. Almost no game on Roblox that has become popular within the past 10 years does this. And, in a way, I feel as though this limits the creativity the games on our site can reach.

Just a couple days ago from the creation of this page (7/14/2018), at RDC 2018, David Baszucki claimed he predicted that within the next five years, an official movie could be made based on a game created on Roblox. While I applaud David for his creative hypothesis, I do not honestly believe that, with the current condition Roblox games are in, this will be the case. Most games nowadays just don't dive deep enough into a storyline for a major motion picture to be produced off of it.

My goal as a storyline writer on Roblox is to fix this issue. I simply seek to help spread the creative juices that exist within each and every one of us into the game development world. I connect the stories of all these games and expand the universe into places never dreamt possible on Roblox not just to make robux, but to spread the seeds of imagination and creativity throughout the world.

So, what is my goal on Roblox? It's to ensure that the sparks of ingenuity get lit, to fuel the fires of the creative mind, and to make sure the flickering light of the imagination does not burn away.
